To spend every day with Italian words and curiosities
"If I had time, I'd study Italian every day", many students say. Now you can: our daily planner (from January to June and from July to December) allows you to read four lines each day and discover some interesting facts like the flower of the month, the color of the month, a liqueur you can make at home, and so on. Each day there's a word (noun, verb, adjective, or adverb) to memorize. At the end of the month, there's an exercise that will allow you to check if you remember everything... or if you need a quick refresher.

The flower of April: the primrose
The common primrose is a plant in the Primulaceae family that blooms in early spring. It is also known as owl's eye.
The leaves and flowers, when treated as tea, can be used for beverages, while when young (before flowering), they are eaten in salads or boiled like spinach, or in soups with other vegetables. In some areas, the flowers are used to make jam, while the rhizome can be used to flavor beer.
In popular tradition, the primrose is linked to legends that celebrate the end of winter and the beginning of spring, symbolizing rebirth and hope. Often seen as a gift from Apollo against the cold, or born from the keys of St. Peter, the primrose is considered a messenger of light, capable of chasing away the cold and protecting the home.
