Each chapter opens with a short text (complete with an Italian glossary of the most unusual and difficult words) that provides a fairly superficial description of a moment in Italian history. This is followed by comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar questions, along with useful insights to improve your language skills.
Finally, there are conversation suggestions, a dictation, and review exercises (the solutions to which are at the end of the book).
